My stay at Idyllwild RV Resort was an lovely experience. From the stunning mountain views to the friendly staff, it truly felt like a great escape. Setting up was a bit tricky due to my short dump hose, but the staff, especially Rick, went above and beyond to help me out. A few minor bumps, but overall, I couldn't have asked for a better getaway.
The space for my 33' toy hauler was just right, and I was relieved to find it easily navigable.
The staff was incredibly warm and helpful. Especially Rick, who provided an extension hose when I needed it.
I loved the peaceful mountain setting. perfect for hiking and enjoying nature.
While I didn't dine extensively, the nearby candy shop in town was a good treat for my kids.
The RV facilities were great, and the pool area was clean and very inviting for my family.

My stay at Idyllwild RV Resort was mostly enjoyable. The check-in process was quick, thanks to Tom, the new manager, who was super friendly and professional. Although I loved the spacious site and the surrounding nature, accessing some sites was a bit tricky, which might deter some campers. Overall, I had a great time despite a few minor inconveniences.
The campsite I had was spacious and clean, with new facilities that worked well. I appreciated that I could choose my own site, which brought back nostalgic vibes.
Tom's customer service was great during check-in. The staff was always around when needed, but they never felt intrusive, which I liked.
The hiking trails were excellent and well-maintained, with varying challenges. However, some access roads were crumbling, which made it a little difficult to navigate.
While I enjoyed my time, it was disappointing that the cafe and store were closed. I couldn't grab a drink or some snacks during my stay.
The bathrooms were clean and stocked with essentials, which made for a positive experience. However, I did notice that some lights were out, although staff quickly fixed them.

I had a fantastic time at Idyllwild RV Resort. The natural beauty and peaceful environment really stood out, though the park's road conditions could definitely use some work. My stay at Idyllwild RV Resort was fantastic. The location offered beautiful views and plenty of outdoor activities, though it would have been even nicer with a bit of snow. I enjoyed my stay at Thousand Trails Idyllwild. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature, which made for a great family getaway. However, the road conditions within the park were a bit rough, which is to be expected in such a nature-centric location.
I appreciated the full hookups, and although my family and I chose a less than ideal spot, we made it work. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities were commendable.
The service from the staff was fantastic! From check-in to assisting with my campsite, the team was friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable.
The park is nestled in a stunning area filled with trees and nature trails, perfect for outdoor activities. I loved being able to explore the surroundings.
Although the store and restaurant were closed during my stay, snacks and BBQ were available, which kept us satisfied. It would have been nice to have more dining options open.
